How to Earn Husika Participation Points

What are participation points

Participation points recognise your involvement on Husika. Your total is stored on your profile as your participation points and grows as you take part in civic activities.

Actions that earn points

| Action | Points |
| --- | --- |
| Create your account | 5 |
| Complete your core profile | 5 |
| Register for an event | 3 |
| Attend or participate in an event | 10 |
| Comment on a policy | 1 |
| Comment on an article | 1 |
| Read an article | 1 |
| View a policy document | 1 |
| Submit feedback | 2 |
| Submit a Huduma service review | 2 |
| Complete a survey | 5 |
| Publish an article | 10 |

How points are counted

• Each qualifying action is counted once — repeating the same action does not stack points.
• Points can be reversed if you undo the action, for example cancelling an event registration, deleting a comment, retracting survey responses, or deleting a review.
• Points are awarded for activity on the Husika platform.

Where to see your points

Your participation points appear on your profile and dashboard, so you can track your contribution to the community over time.
