How to Become an Article Contributor on Husika

Who can become a contributor

Any registered Husika member can apply to become an Article Contributor. Contributors can write, edit, and manage articles that are reviewed by our editorial team before publication.

Before you begin

You will need:

• A Husika account. If you do not have one yet, register and sign in first.
• A short explanation of why you want to contribute (at least 10 characters).
• Optionally, links to previous writing or a portfolio, and the topics you want to cover.

Step by step

1. Sign in to Husika and open your Dashboard.
2. Go to My Articles in the dashboard menu.
3. Select Request Article Contributor Access.
4. Fill in the reason for requesting contributor access. Add your experience, portfolio links, and preferred topics if you have them.
5. Read and agree to the contributor guidelines.
6. Choose Submit Request.

You can open the request page directly at /dashboard/blog/contributor-request.

What happens after you apply

Your request moves through three states:

• Pending — your request is waiting for an administrator to review it.
• Approved — you receive the Contributor role and can start creating articles.
• Rejected — you can revise your details and submit a new request.

After approval

Once approved, open My Articles and choose Create Article to start writing. See our guide on publishing an article for the full editorial workflow.
